PLACEMENT PROGRAM, WARRANTY/ SERVICE REPAIR ITEMS

- Return Authorization Number
In order to better serve our customers with return and credits,
all parts being returned must contain a Return Authorization
number on the outside of the package. All APP purchase orders
must be submitted with a PO number. APP items not returned within
60 days will be billed in full.
- Warranty Items
Most USL, Inc. items will be considered for warranty replacement
for one year from date of invoice. Items that meet the warranty
requirements will be replaced without charge. If the defective
item is not returned to USL within 30 days, you will be billed
in full. Replaced items will not be accepted for credit after
90 days from the date the original RA was shipped.
In most cases, warranty items will be shipped to the customer
ground or second day without charge. Should the customer request
overnight delivery they will be billed for the full amount of
the overnight shipping charges.
- Service Repair Items
An out of warranty item will be replaced by another repaired
item at the time the purchase order is received at USL. The
customer will be billed a service repair fee based upon the
published prices. The service repair fee is contingent upon
the return of the defective item to USL. If the defective item
is not returned to USL within 45 days another invoice will be
issued for the full amount of the item. Replaced items will
not be accepted for credit after 90 days from the date the original
RA was shipped.
Service repair items will be shipped out ground unless otherwise
noted. The customer will be billed in full for all shipping
charges. Please note on the purchase order the date the item
is needed on-site so that we can determine the most economical
means of shipment.
- New Item Returns
New or unused items being returned for credit must be within
one (1) year from the date of the original invoice. The original
invoice or purchase order must accompany the request for an
RA. Items are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Shipping charges for new or unused items being returned for
credit will be at the customers expense.

USL,
Inc./Ultra*Stereo will accept orders only from authorized dealers.
Prices quoted are in U.S. Dollars and are subject to change without
notice. All items are shipped FOB Los Angeles unless indicated
otherwise. International shipments will incur a service handling
fee of $25.00.
Terms are net 30 days. No discounted prices can be taken if the
customer has an outstanding unpaid past due invoice. No discounts
are given on service and repair or freight charges.
Late charges of 2% per month or part thereof will be assessed
for late payment. Returned checks will be assessed a $20.00 service
charge.
- Restocking: A restocking charge
of 15% per item ($50.00 minimum) will be applicable for all
returned goods. Equipment returned after 60 days from original
date of USL, Inc. invoice will not be accepted for credit.
- Repair/Return Policy: A return authorization
number must be obtained from USL, Inc. before retuning any product.
Equipment retuned without an RA number will not be accepted.
All requests for repairs should include the serial number.
Warranty replacement items will be sent out ground or UPS blue
at no expense to the customer. Items requested UPS red or Fed-Ex
will be billed the full amount of the freight to the customer.
Out of warranty items/service repair items will be billed for
all shipping charges. Items that are not returned within 30
days will be billed for the full amount.
- Warranty: USL, Inc. warrants that
equipment manufactured by USL, Inc. will be free from defects
in material and workmanship under normal usage for a period
of one year after its purchase new from an authorized dealer.
Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or
replacing, at our option, any product or component which we
are satisfied does not conform with the foregoing warranty and
which is retuned to our factory freight prepaid. The foregoing
limited warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties,
whether expressed or implied. Such warranty shall not apply
to any product or component (a) repaired or altered by anyone
other than USL, Inc. or an authorized service contractor; (b)
tampered with or altered in any way or subjected to misuse,
negligence or accident or (c) which has been improperly connected,
installed or adjusted otherwise than in accordance with USL,
Inc. instructions.
USL, Inc.'s obligation is restricted to the repair or replacement
of defective parts only, and under no conditions shall USL,
Inc. be liable for any other damage, either direct or consequential
(including but not limited to damage to software or recorded
audio or visual material), or loss of use, revenue or profit
even if USL, Inc. or its agents have been advised, orally or
in writing, of the possibility of such damages.
It is the responsibility of dealers and distributors to inform
their customers of USL, Inc. Warranty and Disclaimer Policy.
- Accuracy: All effort has been made
to make this price list as accurate as possible. USL, Inc. is
not responsible for typographical errors in this price list
that may result in loss of revenue due to errors. Please confirm
all pricing with our offices before quoting your customer.
