JSD80 Noise Reduction Turned Off During Normal Operation

If you select "Do Not Save" when disconnecting the laptop AND you have last selected PINK NOISE or RTA Power ON it is possible to leave the JSD80 in the NR off position.  This means that under normal 35MM analog formats the NR will be disabled and prints will not be decoded properly.

(If you have selected "Save" this will not happen and the JSD80 will operate normally OR if you have selected "Do Not Save" with the Pink Noise and RTA Power OFF this will not happen and the JSD80 will operate normally.

To fix the problem on a JSD80 exhibiting this behavior do the following:

1) Using the laptop connect to the JSD80.
2) Select the "Formats" tab.
3) Select STEREO and 35mm options.
4) Under 35mm options panel select A type for noise reduction.
5) Select SR format and 35mm options.
6) Under 35mm options panel select SR type noise reduction.
7) Disconnect and "Save" settings.
